I thought I would count the stars –
My counting went on all night.
But I kept on losing the thread.
This morning I’ve understood
That only by not
Looking too closely,
Do we see a whole thing right.
Just look at the sea –
Don’t drive yourself crazy
Trying to scoop it out!
