Thirty years ago this Englishman had a conversation with a couple who had just bought a flat near Holyrood Park. They spoke with huge enthusiasm about Scotland, and especially the ‘Edinburgh quality of life.’ They told me ‘you can easily walk pretty much everywhere.’ You’ll have had similar conversations, and you’ll know that some of them stay with you for years and years. So it was with me. I wondered and wondered some more about Edinburgh’s ‘quality of life.’ Now I understand. And every day – quite often in the same place, over and over again, I’m wowed, inspired, and thankful 😃☀️

Yes, has been wicked hot in Texas and Arizona. We’ve stayed (relatively) cool in the 90s. 🙄 Mimi and I speak a couple of times a day, so I will definitely pass along your love. 💕
