Reflecting on my encounters with people all over the world, my thoughts today are centred around humanity’s being extraordinarily adaptable. We chastise ourselves at times for our perceived limitations, but in the ever-changing circumstances that comprise all our lives it’s actually an astonishing thing that we’re built to be so adaptable and courageous isn’t it? Maybe we ought to give ourselves (and each other) an occasional pat on the back …
