Great advice, painted by children, in primary colours, on a nursery school banner. What attracts my attention further is the day’s timetable. Number. Play. Song. Story. Movement. Nap. Reflection. There’s time set aside in the day’s plan for toddlers to reflect on their experiences. And it is from there, be the quiet time long or short, that ‘lots of good ideas’, properly attended to, come.
