This is the third sovereign to die in my lifetime. As early as I can remember I was aware of hearing that George V’s life was drawing slowly to its close. My mother always taught us that the princesses were our role models. How impossible it was to be like our gracious late Queen. May she rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
